The Iceberg Project
- Watch Trailer
- Director: Jean-Michel Corillion
With freshwater scarcity reaching crisis proportions, it is vital to consider every possible source of clean water. French naval engineer Georges Mougin has long advocated the use of icebergs to meet human water requirements as they are a source of pure freshwater that is just wasted otherwise. In this eye-opening film, Georges and a team of glaciologists, oceanographers and engineers investigate the plausibility of taking an iceberg from the coast of Canada and towing it across the Atlantic before it melts. If they succeed, humankind may avert the looming water crisis before it strikes.
