A group of international carriage drivers and horse riders embark on a 2,500-mile journey from California to Florida over 5 months. Aged from 11 to 80, they travel under the leadership of Gerard Paagman and his team of elegant Friesian horses. Filmmaker Margot McMcaster and her husband, Douglas Munro, live out of an RV as they follow the colorful caravan that includes custom-built Gypsy wagons and an international group of riders, as they grapple with navigation, forces of nature, and group dynamics in an epic horse-drawn experience across America.
