Can war destroy a country's culture and art? Following the ISIS conflict in Syria, most artists fled the country. But there were a few who stayed & others who came back & decided to remember the war, its heroes and inspire the civilians. A brilliant sculptor, a brave dancer, a perseverant gallery owner & an outstanding jazz band conductor chose to spread hope in the conflict-afflicted nation.
