Locusts devour everything in their way and for Madagascar, they proved to be a catastrophe. Alarmed by the pre-existing high rates of food insecurity & malnutrition, the government applied for help to the Food & Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. Ideally the locusts lead a solitary life in the southern part of the island nation, but unusual weather conditions caused an exponential rise in reproduction rates & a behavioral mutation made them a menace. Meet the men who are tasked with spraying pesticides on these swarms and saving a nation from absolute ruin.
