During her journeys in the jungles of the Yucatan Peninsula and Guatemala, filmmaker and journalist Elisabeth Thieriot meet Mayan abuelos who dispel the myths about the dystopian controversy theories often associated with the Mayan Calendar. Along the way, the film also deep dives into the mystery of the Baqtun, also known as the measurement of time that the Mayans identified as a 3,300-year cycle.
