Clad in a jail-suit and shackles everywhere he goes, Michael Ta’Bon is a political performance artist who pledged his life to raise awareness among young black men about the dangers of incarceration- a challenge one in three African-American families faces. After spending 15 years in prison, Michael is still often neglecting his family, as he feels activism is his life’s primary purpose. Meanwhile, rising debts, a suspected attempt on his life by the Ku Klux Klan, and his personal demons continue to haunt him. Will his crusade end up destroying everything that he’s held dear?
